WHAT IS DENTAL BONDING?
Dental bonding or composite restoration is a procedure in which a durable resin material is bonded to a tooth. This is used to correct chips, correct discoloration, restore tooth decay and improve and restore a person’s smile. The bonding material is personalized to closely match the color of the tooth. This procedure is done quickly and can usually be done in one office visit.
DENTAL BONDING CAN BE USED FOR:
- Repair chipped or cracked teeth
- Improve discolored teeth
- Restore tooth decay
- Close gaps between teeth
- Reshape uneven teeth
- Protect exposed roots of teeth
While bonding is a great option for many occasions, dental veneers may also be an option. Veneers, unlike dental bonding, cover the entire surface of a tooth. Speak with Dr. Kim regarding what option is best for your specific case.
