About Maria Lopez, RDH
Maria has lived in the High Desert since 2004. She has been in the dental field for over 16 years. She started as a file clerk at a dental office in Long Beach, CA, and worked her way up to management. Maria became very passionate about dentistry and knew that she wanted to further herself in the field. She wanted to be part of behind the scenes with patients and help make brighter smiles. She decided to go back to school and become a dental hygienist in 2009 and graduated in 2013.
Maria is quick at making patients comfortable and at ease. Building trust, confidence, and loyalty with her patients is what she does best. She is devoted to educating patients and taking the time to address their individual needs. Patient education in oral disease is a huge role in Maria’s day to day task and something she takes really serious as good health starts in the oral cavity.
In her spare time, Maria enjoys camping, off-roading, singing, grilling, cooking, and home decor. Maria is well known in the community as she participates in county fairs, health fairs, and special events that go for a good cause.
